Older seasons. Every year except for '02 uses the ratings from year before as a prior. With playoffs. 2002 data is less than one third of the entire season, mostly March/April/June.
2011, 2010, 2009, 2008, 2007, 2006, 2005, 2004, 2003, 2002 10 year ranking The analysis includes coaches (listed with prefix 'Coach_'). Different lambdas were used for offense, defense and coaches. Optimal lambda values were found through crossvalidation, they were: Offense: 2500, Defense: 7500, Offense(Coach): 6000, Defense(Coach): 4500Non prior informed ranking for 2012 No coaches included. Lambda: 3000. 0 was used as a prior for every player. Not as good for prediction as version above.
